RB1: James Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars ($6,400)

I feel like I’ve become a James Robinson spokesman in most of my articles so far in 2022. It’s hard to ignore how good he has been not only this season, but in his career. He’s making his case for the Comeback Player of the Year after his Achilles injury in 2021. He’s rushed 51 times for 230 yards and four touchdowns, retaining RB1 duties in Jacksonville.

This week, Jacksonville gets a tough test in the Philadelphia Eagles, who just held the Commanders to eight points. However, the Chargers were seen as a brutal matchup for Trevor Lawrence and company, but they excelled on offense and Robinson had a day. I expect Robinson to continue his hot streak in Week 4.

RB2: Jamaal Williams, Detroit Lions ($6,100)

Jamaal Williams has been the running back 1B for the Detroit Lions rather than a backup. He’s had at least 11 carries in all three games this season and has out-produced D’Andre Swift (largely because of Swift’s injuries, however). With Swift’s latest injury, Williams is in line for even more work.

The Lions play the Seattle Seahawks this week, who have allowed the third-most rushing yards to opposing teams through three weeks. Both of these factors are setting Williams up for a near-perfect scenario for Williams. He’ll have another solid day on the ground in our lineup.
