Who to take in this one? Arizona has been a mess in 10 of the 12 quarters it’s played. The Panthers can’t get anything out of Baker Mayfield. Ultimately, give me the better quarterback.

Pick: Arizona 24, Carolina 23

49. GB -9.5. 47. Sunday, Oct. 2. 2-1. 1-2. CBS. 4:25 p.m. ET

If the Packers lose this game, it would be the biggest stunner of the week. The Patriots likely have a backup quarterback, and the roster is without a real playmaker.

Pick: Green Bay 32, New England 20

LV -2.5. 4:25 p.m. ET. 2-1. 45. Sunday, Oct. 2. 28. CBS. 0-3

This is Last Chance Saloon time for the Raiders. The Broncos have two wins, but they’ve looked pathetic offensively. Give me a desperate home team with the better offense, but barely.

Pick: Las Vegas 19, Denver 15

124. Sunday, Oct. 2. 8:20 p.m. ET. 2-1. NBC. 2-1. 48. KC -2

Hard game to handicap. Both teams have all-time quarterbacks (to differing extents) coming off losses. The Chiefs are healthier, but the Bucs might have the more talented roster. Ultimately, Tampa Bay’s pass rush is the difference.

Pick: Tampa Bay 23, Kansas City 20

Monday, Oct. 3. 51. ESPN. 42. SF -2.5. 8:15 p.m. ET. 2-1. 1-2

The Rams always struggle with the Niners, and it happens again. San Francisco will relentlessly pressure Matthew Stafford, and Jimmy Garoppolo can’t be any worse than he was a week ago.

Pick: San Francisco 27, Los Angeles 21

Last Week: 9-7
