WR1: Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins ($6,700)

Jaylen Waddle has been an absolute machine this year. He’s sixth among receivers in receiving yards, tied for second with three touchdowns, and the WR5 on the year in overall points. Even with Tyreek Hill leading him in almost every category, he’s still been a beast.

This week, the Miami Dolphins get the New York Jets. Even without Tua Tagovailoa, this is a great matchup for Waddle. The Jets secondary has been very mediocre, and it will have a tough time keeping up with speedy Dolphins receivers. Waddle is a solid No. 1 for us this week.

WR2: Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders ($6,200)

It was assumed that Terry McLaurin would be in for a career year due to playing with the best quarterback of his career in Carson Wentz. However, it’s been Curtis Samuel who has benefited the most from this. He’s been out-targeted 37-27 and out-caught 26-14. However, ‘Scary Terry’ leads the team in receiving yards and snaps. He’s still the WR1 in this offense.

McLaurin gets a good matchup this week with the Tennessee Titans, who have given up the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. This game will likely be competitive throughout, and McLaurin should see plenty of options. Despite Samuel’s presence, I like Scary Terry in Week 5.

WR3: Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($5,900)

Chris Godwin returned from his hamstring injury and looked the part of Tom Brady’s go-to receiver alongside Mike Evans. He caught 7-10 targets for 59 yards. How he is priced so low is astounding to me, and we’re going to take advantage of it.

Godwin’s high-volume role, combined with the matchup against Atlanta’s 25th-ranked secondary, makes him a value this week — another no-brainer pick.
