A salty Toronto Blue Jays fan gave the middle finger to an ESPN camera after the team blew a 8-1 lead to the Seattle Mariners.
The Toronto Blue Jays had World Series aspirations entering this season. They clinched the top Wild Card spot in the American League and home field for the opening round of the postseason. The problem is, the Seattle Mariners shut them out in Game 1, meaning that they absolutely needed to win Game 2 to survive.
Toronto was in good shape, as they held an 8-1 lead entering the sixth inning. The thing is, the Blue Jays blew a seven-run lead and lost to the Mariners 10-9, bringing their season to an end.
ESPN, who is broadcasting the Wild Card round, cut to a crowd shot where a group of Mariners fans at Rogers Centre were celebrating. One salty Blue Jays fans walked towards the camera, and gave it the middle finger.

Blue Jays fans did not expect the team to exit the postseason without a World Series ring, let alone without a single win. But that was the case, as the Mariners were red hot and overcame their 8-1 deficit to earn their first series victory since 2001.
The Mariners are now the third team to overcome a seven-game deficit, joining the 1929 Philadelphia Athletics and the 2008 Boston Red Sox, pre ESPN Stats and Info.
Seattle is now heading to the ALDS to take on the Houston Astros. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays are headed home, and now, the baseball world waits and sees what they do in the offseason.
