4. Geno Smith, QB, Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith has been quite the surprise this year in fantasy football. He’s currently the overall QB6, and has outscored guys like Justin Herbert, Tom Brady, and Russell Wilson. His dual-threat ability and natural fit in the offense has led to a recipe for success in fantasy football. What’s also a cool storyline is that he’s very clearly outplayed the former longtime Seattle quarterback Wilson as well.

This week, Smith has the Arizona Cardinals’ 21st-ranked passing defense that hasn’t been able to quite put it all together — mainly due to the injuries in the secondary. Smith has been taking advantage of the Seahawks’ strong run game, elite wide receivers, and a plethora of tight ends en route to a reliable fantasy quarterback season thus far. Smith will again have a solid fantasy day, especially since he’s been nearly matchup-proof this year.
