2. Rhys Hoskins

The Braves scored all three of their runs in the sixth inning. It all began after Ronald Acuña Jr. was hit by a pitch and Dansby Swanson walked. Matt Olson then hit a single to knock in Acuña to give the Braves a 1-0 lead.

Olson’s hit went right to Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins, who failed to snag the baseball, allowing it to sneak past him and into right field to give Acuña enough time to run to home plate.

The Braves then followed that up with RBI singles by Austin Riley and Travis d’Arnaud to give them a 3-0 lead.

Had Hoskins had fielded the ball and gotten the out, the inning would have ended with a scoreless tie.
