2. Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys

Tony Pollard’s identity has become “the backup running back who is better than the starter but can’t win the starting job.” The stats and the eye test tell us that Pollard is better than Ezekiel Elliot, and his explosive plays have made him a fantasy asset at times.

This week, in a tough tilt against the Philadelphia Eagles, Pollard should have plenty of opportunity to make plays. He’s seen consistent touches, which is a good sign because volume for running backs is key. Pollard is a sleeper flex and DFS play.

1. Eno Benjamin, Arizona Cardinals

James Conner and Darrel Williams will not play this week, making Eno Benjamin the clear-cut starter. By now, he probably is owned in your league. If he isn’t — go pick him up now and you have an instant RB2 in your lineups.

Benjamin looked effective in the work he got last week, totaling 11 touches, 53 yards, and a touchdown. He’s a good bet to see around 15 touches or more, and he has a smash spot matchup in the Seattle Seahawks’ run defense that ranks dead last. Start him everywhere this week.
