Al Michaels is getting bodied for comment about Taylor Swift during TNF.
Oh, Al Michaels. No. Bless your heart.
During Thursday Night Football the broadcaster insulted a major demographic of one of the most robust and loud fanbases in all of music – Swifties.
Swift shared a teaser of her 10-minute “movie” aka “Midnights” with the Amazon Prime audience during the thrid quarter of the New Orleans Saints vs. Arizona Cardinals primetime game.
But Michaels put a big ole foot in his mouth when he said only teenage girls were interested in Swift’s music.
whining like this is super boring but i'm going to do it anyway: the "teenage girls must be so excited!" nonsense is so dull and embarrassing and uninformed. boo.

Al Michaels thinking Taylor Swift is most popular among teenage girls doesn’t know we’re all 30 now

I’m not convinced Al Michaels knows who Taylor Swift is

Al Michaels -- "you have sons, so you wouldn't know, but if you had daughters they'd be over the moon about Taylor Swift's new album."

As a male Swiftie, I also cringed at this Al Michaels comment https://t.co/mJ6YR3mhvx

We need an Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit pop culture podcast like we've never needed anything before.

Actually, according to Audiense, almost half of Swift’s fanbase are men (55.28 percent are women, 44.72 are male) and only 18.8 percent are aged teenagers (between 13-17).
We hope you have hired extra security to escort you to your car tonight.
