Insane stat shows just how terrible Thursday Night Football games have been.

If you’re a diehard fan you’re going to be watching the Thursday Night Football games no matter who is playing. And you’re also going to have watched two of the most boring games (so far) this season.

FanSided’s Russell Baxter provided some context and when it’s spelled out like this … it’s kind of hilarious.

Thursday Night Football Weeks 5 and 6 only had a combined 40 points over two games, but at halftime, the Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints had already scored 42 points. That’s thanks, in part, to the back-to-back pick sixes gifted to the Cardinals.

And, in case you forgot, Week 2 was Bengals 27, Dolphins 15 and Week 5 was Colts 12, Broncos 9.
