2. Fantasy football wide receiver sleepers for Week 7: Michael Gallup, Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott is expected to return as the Cowboys’ starting quarterback on Sunday.
Last week, Gallup did not have the strongest performance, as he finished with only two receptions for 18 yards on seven targets. Nevertheless, the return of Prescott will boost Gallup’s fantasy value. Since 2019, Gallup is averaging 4.2 receptions for 67.9 yards and 0.3 touchdowns with Prescott at quarterback. That equates to 12.79 fantasy points in PPR leagues. Over six games, that pace would rank Gallup as the 23rd-highest scoring wide receivers this season.
With high upside, Gallup is a must-add in all leagues. This week, he has appeal as a flex option due to a favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions. The Lions’ defense is allowing a league-high 34.0 points per game this season.
1. Fantasy football wide receiver sleepers for Week 7: Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts
Pierce is quickly becoming one of Matt Ryan’s go-to targets. Over the last three games, the rookie has recorded 15 receptions for 210 yards and a touchdown.
Pierce has a lot of value playing in the Colts’ offense. As I previously mentioned, the Colts are currently third in the NFL in pass attempts (253).
This week, he will have an nice fantasy matchup against the Tennessee Titans, who are allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers this season.
He is solid streaming option in most leagues.
