Aaron Rodgers chewed out one of his receivers after dropping a pass during Week 7’s game against the Washington Commanders.

If the Green Bay Packers needed another sign to trade for another wide receiver, Sunday was it. You have to believe that quarterback Aaron Rodgers was thinking that when he was hurling curse words on the field at rookie receiver Romeo Doubs after he dropped a pass.

Not a good look for the Packers culture, but neither is the dropped ball.

Here’s Rodgers shouting at Doubs. He appears to say, “what the f— are we doing?” to Doubs after the pass was dropped.

The Packers would go scoreless on that drive, and as of publication trail the Commanders by nine points with a little under seven minutes left in the game.

Packers need to find some receiving help

Maybe it’ll be Chase Claypool. Or perhaps it’ll be Brandin Cooks. Or Jerry Jeudy, perhaps? Whatever wide receiver is available, the Packers need to pick up the call and at least inquire on the price.

Since they lost Davante Adams this offseason in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, the Packers have been unable (or unwilling, it’s hard to say) to replace his production with their committee-based approach to the receiver room.

In addition to dropped passes and poor performance, we’ve also got Allen Lazard injured during the game.

Get Rodgers some help, man.

There are plenty of issues in Green Bay. Despite the answer seeming obvious (run the ball, you have Aaron Jones!) it’s apparently not. But if the Packers want to thrtow the ball as bad as they appear to want to, they might as well get some better talent for Rodgers to send off the ball to.

Next. 3 trades Packers need to make to answer 49ers dealing for Christian McCaffrey. dark
