The Houston Astros celebrated late into the night. Here’s what you may have missed from their clubhouse antics after winning the ALCS.

The ALCS is supposed to be the meeting between the two very best teams in the American League. The Houston Astros made it clear that there is no competition in the American League this season, sweeping the Yankees handily. It looks like they could go all the way.

A series win so convincing to send you to the World Series deserves a celebration like no other. The Astros sure did deliver on that.

And of course, the World Series not kicking off until Friday gives them some time to recover from any case of over-celebrating.

Here’s what you might have missed from the late-night celebration.

Here’s how the Astros clubhouse celebration looked in the Bronx after winning ALCS

The most notable part of the postgame antics actually happened just outside the clubhouse when Yankees manager Aaron Boone stopped by the outside of the clubhouse to speak with Astros manager Dusty Baker to congratulate him:

It was a really nice moment between both managers.

The Astros brought out the brooms. a well-deserved jab at the Yankees after sweeping them.

I mean, this just looks and sounds like a party I want to be at:

Astros catcher Martin Maldonado made it a point to call back to the fact that Yankees fans chanted that they wanted Houston.

There is significant tension between Yankees fans and the Astros. After it being found that the Astros illegally stole signs several years back, blocking the Yankees from making it to the World Series in the process, fans have been particularly hostile toward the Astros, especially toward players like Jose Altuve that were on the cheating team. So an Astros win in the Bronx probably feels sweeter than a bag of Halloween candy.

Korey Lee interviewed Jake Meyers with a champagne bottle, which truly might be the highlight of the entire night:

The World Series kicks off on Friday in Houston.
