TE: Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams ($4,200)

Outside of Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews, it’s hard to find a tight end who secures high volume and has a relatively safe floor. One of the closest options so far this year has been Tyler Higbee, who has the fourth-most targets among tight ends in 2022. Regardless of the tougher matchup, Matthew Stafford either throws to Higbee or Cooper Kupp, making him a high-floor play.

FLEX: Brian Robinson Jr., Washington Commanders ($5,600)

Over the last two weeks, only a handful of running backs have more carries than Brian Robinson Jr., the impressive Washington Commanders rookie. He has 37 carries and has operated as a workhorse for Washington. Even with Antonio Gibson remaining heavily involved, Robinson has seen a great amount of volume, keeping him fantasy relevant based on that alone.

Robinson takes on a suspect Colts’ run defense in Week 8, allowing the 10th-most rushing yards a game. With both teams starting inexperienced quarterbacks this week, this may become a run-fest, making Robinson a high-floor option this week.

D/ST: New York Jets ($2,900)

It’s time to start talking about the Jets as having a very good defense. They rank 11th against the run and 13th against the pass and allow the 10th-fewest offensive yards per game. Their defense is a big part of why they’re 5-2.

This week, the Jets have a big divisional game against the New England Patriots, who suddenly have a quarterback controversy and got shut down by the Chicago Bears. This all adds up as a great matchup for the Jets defense, which was very cheap.
