Patriots second-string WR Kendrick Bourne

There’s a possibility that Kendrick Bourne could be traded away by the deadline, but he’s not as likely to be as Agholor. Bourne hasn’t played much this season as he’s listed as questionable from turf toe.

His lack of playing time could either be used for him or against him when considering a trade. On one hand, he hasn’t played enough games in New England to be able to prove what he’s capable of. On the other hand, he hasn’t been able to contribute much lately and the Patriots may want to invest in someone who’s healthy and able to play more.

Bourne is well-liked by fans, so it would certainly cause some backlash at the very least. However, he seems to have too much potential for the Pats to give up on him so soon.

As of Sept. 28, according to Nick Goss of NBC Sports Boston, “Bourne, despite not seeing the field much this season, leads all wideouts and tight ends with a 91 Catch Score since the beginning of the 2021 season, ahead of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett in second place at 86.”

His injury is unfortunate, but when back in full health, the Patriots could use him.
