Con: Uncertainty if he will return to form after torn ACL

While Beckham did show that he was a difference-maker for the Rams last year, it is hard to gloss over how the season ended.

As mentioned earlier, Beckham logged two receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown on three targets in the first half of Super Bowl 56. After that, Beckham fell to the turf clutching his left knee and he did not return to the football field for the remainder of the game. It was revealed that he had suffered a torn ACL.

Beckham is scheduled to be cleared to play in November, hence why there will be a bidding war for his services. The thing is, will Beckham be able to replicate his production from the year prior? This is the second time that he tore his ACL in the same knee, after all.

This is not to say that a drop in production is a certainty, it’s just something teams need to factor into their decision-making process.
