This week’s Thursday Night Football features the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting the Baltimore Ravens.
Thursday Night Football hasn’t been the most spectacular product this year. Weeks 5 and 6 saw 40 total points scored between the four teams. Week 7 bounced back but included four interceptions from Andy Dalton. Nothing is exactly screaming high-quality football on Thursdays right now.
That’s kind of what you might expect when you force teams to go out on four days of rest.
Week 8’s game looks like it could be a good game… But you never know. It features Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. Stats suggest it could be another blowout, though. The Ravens are a top-six team in terms of points in the league, and the Bucs are bottom-seven.
We’ll get to see the old guard in Brady take on the new guard in Jackson. The duo has faced off just once before.
We’ll see how this one shakes out.
