2023 NFL Mock Draft: Could QBs go 1-2-3 in the first round?

Las Vegas Raiders. Paris Johnson Jr.. 9. player. 28. . OT

The Las Vegas Raiders notched their second win this past weekend, and did it in convincing style, beating the Houston Texans at home. The Silver and Black may not have gotten out to the best start in 2022, but there is a lot of talent on that roster, and they should be able to go on a run with a soft schedule coming up.

Picking in the top 10, the Raiders go down a familiar path, taking an offensive tackle at pick No. 9 overall. Kolten Miller is an outstanding left tackle, but the right tackle spot has been an issue, one they fill with Paris Johnson Jr. from Ohio State here in the first round.

DL. Atlanta Falcons. Bryan Bresee. 10. player. 44.

The Atlanta Falcons likely won’t go quarterback early in the first round, as Marcus Mariota has played well for them in his first season as the starter. As he continues to get used to this offense, and the Falcons add some weapons, he should be able to prove he is a worthy starting quarterback in the league once again.

Picking at No. 10 overall, I like the Falcons to address their defensive line, an area that has been an issue all season long. The selection here is Bryan Bresee, who some feel could be the first defensive tackle off the board in 2023, and is finishing up an outstanding career at Clemson.
