2023 NFL Mock Draft: Could QBs go 1-2-3 in the first round?
The New England Patriots played host to the Chicago Bears on Monday night, and everyone figured they would roll in front of the home crowd. Instead, they saw Mac Jones struggle, and a quarterback controversy start brewing, this after Bailey Zappe came in and continued his strong play.
However, the end result was a bad loss to a bad team, and now, you have to wonder if this is going to be a rebuilding year for Bill Belichick and company. Regardless of where they pick in the first round next year, they need wide receiver help, and at No. 12 overall, Kayshon Boutte is the pick in our latest mock draft.
The Chicago Bears pulled off an outstanding victory on Monday night, going into New England and beating the Patriots on the road. For Justin Fields, it was another solid outing, but one thing is for sure, he needs some help on the outside.
Fields was able to run all over the Patriots defense, but that brand of football is going to lead to a short career for the talented signal-caller. At pick No. 14, the Bears get him some help, adding Jordan Addison from USC, a playmaking wideout who has the skill set to be an impact player in Year 1 at the next level.
