4. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 9 – Arizona Cardinals WR Rondale Moore

The return of DeAndre Hopkins was supposed to provide some needed juice to the Cardinals’ receiving corps but the results haven’t gone as planned as Arizona is just 3-5 after eight weeks. One positive for Kliff Kingsbury’s team is that Rondale Moore has emerged as a key playmaker in the offense.

Moore was Arizona’s most effective receiver in Week 8, catching 7-of-8 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ 34-26 loss at Minnesota. The spike was Moore’s first of the season and he has gotten some consistent targets from Kyler Murray despite the presence of other talented receivers like Hopkins and A.J. Green.

Arizona has worked hard to incorporate Moore into its game plan after he missed the first three weeks of the season with an injury, targeting him at least eight times in three of their past five games. This kind of workload will offer a solid PPR floor for Moore, who can be a valuable asset with the bye weeks still in full effect.

Moore is rostered in just 35 percent of Yahoo! leagues and has a plus matchup in Week 9 against Seattle’s questionable secondary. Managers in need of receiver help next week should grab Moore as a WR3 candidate.
