Packers trade rumors: Jerry Jeudy

While drops were an issue for Jerry Jeudy is Denver, the Broncos held onto him for a reason. Perhaps they couldn’t get the right return for a former first-round draft pick. Regardless, the Packers fumbled this situation, as well.

Green Bay was one of several teams in on Jeudy. And, as The Big Lead’s Liam McKeone described, Jeudy wanted a way out of rapidly-deteriorating situation in Denver:

"“The player who seems most likely to get moved is Jerry Jeudy. The former Alabama superstar has been disappointing so far this season, only recording 17 catches for 290 yards and two touchdowns. Drops have been an issue for Jeudy throughout his career and this season he’s caught only 47 percent of his targets, although that can largely be attributed to Wilson’s inaccuracy and the general ineptitude that currently plagues the offense.”"

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers has voiced concern about the lack of separation the Packers young wideouts are capable of mustering. No. 12 has no problem letting the rookie wideouts know this, either:

“If one of those guys has a problem with it, I’m right here, and I’d love to have a conversation,” Rodgers said. “I enjoy those conversations. I enjoy any type of conflict like that, because I know the resolution on the other side is going to make us a better unit, a better friendship, a better cohesion on the field. But nobody’s come to me and said, ‘I’ve got a problem with what you said.’”

Jeudy has proven himself in that department, at the very least.
