The Philadelphia Phillies are just two wins away from winning their first World Series title since 2008. On Tuesday night, they hosted Game 3, looking to take a series lead over the Houston Astros. As it turns out, that was not much of a challenge.
Philadelphia hit five home runs off Houston starting pitcher Lance McCullers to power their way to a 7-0 victory and a 2-1 World Series lead.
You’ve seen the home runs and the calls from FOX Sports’ Joe Davis and John Smoltz. Let’s take a listen to the radio calls of all five homers on Tuesday night.

Star outfielder Bryce Harper opened up the scoring in the bottom of the first inning, hitting a massive two-run homer to right field. Take a listen to 94 WIP’s Scott Franzke’s call of Harper’s homer.
In the bottom of the second, third baseman Alec Bohm hit a line drive homer to left field to extend Philadelphia’s lead to 3-0. This happened after Harper gave Bohm some advice on what he saw during his at-bat.
Shortly afterwards, outfielder Brandon Marsh just cleared the right field fence for a solo home run of his own.

The home runs went on a two-inning pause, but they returned in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on base, outfielder Kyle Schwarber crushed a huge two-run homer to dead center field to extend Philadelphia’s lead to 6-0.
That same inning, first baseman Rhys Hoskins hit a solo homer to left field to give the Phillies a 7-0 lead, which subsequently removed McCullers from the game.

The Phillies will look to take a 3-1 series lead over the Astros with a Game 4 win. First pitch takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 2 around 8:00 p.m. ET.
