Paul Allen’s radio call of Greg Joseph game-winning kick is amazing
By Scott Rogust
Take a listen to Paul Allen’s call of Greg Joseph’s game-winning field goal for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10.
The Minnesota Vikings had their work cut out for them in Week 10, as they had to take on a Washington Commanders team that was on a three-game winning streak. It was also quarterback Kirk Cousins’ return to Washington.
Minnesota trailed Washington 17-7, but managed to tie things up on a 12-yard touchdown pass from Cousins to running back Dalvin Cook with over seven minutes remaining in regulation. That took place after a bad interception thrown by Commanders quarterback Taylor Heinicke. But with 12-seconds remaining in regulation, Greg Joseph hit what turned out to be the game-winning, 28-yard field goal.

Joseph as money for sure on that kick.
The Vikings carried a 7-3 lead entering halftime. But early on in the third quarter, Minnesota watched as an on-field official ran into safety Camryn Bynum, allowing Washington wide receiver Curtis Samuel catch a deep pass from Heinicke and roll into the end zone for the touchdown.
At the start of the fourth quarter, Washington extended their lead to 17-7 on a six-yard touchdown pass from Heinicke to Dax Milne.
The Vikings were able to score 13 unanswered points, six of which came from Joseph.
Minnesota is now 7-1 on the season. Next week, they face off against a Buffalo Bills team that was upset by the New York Jets this week.
