A win or two would do these college football head coaches a world of good this November.
Six Power Five and three Group of Five jobs are now available throughout major college football.
Last week saw Auburn rip the band-aid off the Bryan Harsin disaster. While South Florida is not Power Five, it became abundantly clear to all of us that Jeff Scott was not the right man for the job down in Tampa. No bull, there will be a few more jobs of note opening up between now and Christmas, maybe a few interesting ones across the Power Five. So who could be out here soon?
Here are five Power Five head coaches who need a win in the worst way in Week 11, and beyond.

Justin Wilcox’s California Golden Bears have lost five Pac-12 games in a row
While this looks like one of the best years of Pac-12 football in quite some time, the same thing cannot be said for Justin Wilcox and his reeling California Golden Bears football program. Cal started the year out 3-1 with a narrow defeat to Notre Dame in South Bend. Unfortunately, they have dropped a league-worst, five-straight Pac-12 games since losing to Wazzu up in Pullman.
Although the Golden Bears have a conference win over Arizona, they lost on the road to Colorado, arguably the worst Power Five program in the country right now. While they nearly upset USC in Los Angeles on Saturday night, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Cal has to win out to go bowling now at 3-6. They have at Oregon State, home vs. Stanford and home vs. UCLA.
With the Beavers and Bruins having achieved bowl eligibility, Cal is probably not getting to 6-6…
