It was a short week for the defending AFC champions as the Bengals were coming off a 32-13 Monday night setback to the Browns. They hosted the Carolina Panthers and took out their frustrations on their guests.

It was the Joe Mixon Show as the talented running back scored five of Cincinnati’s six touchdowns. Mixon ran for 153 yards and four scores and caught four passes for 58 yards and another TD. The Bengals played turnover-free football.

When Brian Daboll’s team last took the field, the Giants had their issues in a loss to the surging Seahawks. But this is one of the most improved teams in the league and has shown a knack for coming back all season.

One of the bigger reasons for the club’s resurgence has been running back Saquon Barkley, who has run for 779 yards and five scores and also leads the club in receptions. And New York’s defense has allowed just 14 offensive touchdowns.

6-3. Previous: . New York Jets. 10. team. 30.

It’s been a very promising start for Robert Saleh’s club. The Jets won just four games in 2021 and the club has already surpassed that total. It didn’t figure to be easy against the reigning AFC East champions and the Bills took a 14-3 lead in the second quarter.

But New York’s defense finished with five sacks of Josh Allen and also picked him off twice. The Jets limited their divisional rival to just a field goal in the second half and came up with another win.
