Micah Parsons is the latest Cowboy to recruit OBJ

The Dallas Cowboys are linked to free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and star edge rusher Micah Parsons offered his pitch to him.
The NFL is one week past the Nov. 1 trade deadline. That means teams looking to make improvements to their roster will have to rely on free agency. For those teams that missed out on getting a wide receiver, they are in luck, as Odell Beckham Jr. is available. The issue is, it will be a crowded, contentious battle amongst other teams to try and sign him.
Recently, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and head coach Mike McCarthy have spoken highly of Beckham. Notably, Jones said during his weekly spot on 105.35 The Fan, ” the Cowboys star on the helmet when he puts it on could look pretty good.”
There is now a new Cowboys trying to recruit Beckham to Dallas, and that is linebacker Micah Parsons. In a tweet, Parsons said, “man OBJ talk to me,” and, “let’s do this s***.”
Micah Parsons recruits Odell Beckham Jr. to Cowboys
While Dallas fans will certainly hope that Beckham joins the Cowboys, especially after he spent his first five years with the rival New York Giants, they will have to convince him to sign over other teams.
According to FOX Sports insider Jay Glazer, Beckham is scheduled to be cleared to play by the end of this week.
The Cowboys are in good shape. They sit at 6-2 on the year and are legitimate contenders in the NFC, due in part to the play of the defense. But, adding Beckham to a passing offense consisting of quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup could legitimately put them over the top. Especially as they try to remove the Philadelphia Eagles from first place in the division.
With Beckham, he is reportedly looking for a multi-year contract from a team. Will the Cowboys be the ones to offer it to him? That remains to be seen. But Parsons is hoping that his recruiting pitch will be enough to sway him.
