John Fury, the father of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, got into a heated exchange with Jake Paul at Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Deji card.

After all of the headlines about Tommy Fury not making weight for his fight in Dubai earlier today, Fury faced Rolly Lambert, who was a very last-minute replacement. The fight was underwhelming, to put it nicely, but what happened after the fight was the night’s highlight.

Sitting ringside and helping to call Fury’s fight was none other than Jake Paul. He was there to see if Fury would be his next opponent or maybe the guy that calls himself ‘Money Mayweather.’ Paul’s commentary was a comedy show, and it must have been loud enough for team Fury to hear it as after the fight, all hell broke loose at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, UAE. John Fury, who is the father of the WBC champion Tyson Fury, saw Paul and began to zero in on him. Verbal jabs were being exchanged, and one thing led to another, John ended up charging towards the ring ropes and was a few feet from Paul. In true Fury style, John took off his shirt and dared for Paul to step into the ring. It was a heated exchange that got everyone buzzing throughout the arena.

Afterward, Tommy had his post-fight interview and dared for Paul to enter the ring and face him as they have a history of two previous attempts at making their fight. Paul, sporting a ‘Hulkamania’ shirt, was heard saying that he wouldn’t go into the ring but for team Fury to come towards the announcer’s booth where he was standing. Tommy then approached the ropes and continued to exchange words with the YouTube star Paul.

There still seems to be an appetite for a fight that has been canceled twice. Will we see Tommy vs. Paul next, or will John Fury and his WWE-style engagement today find himself in the ring with Paul? Either way, you look at it, Paul was able to snatch the headlines from Mayweather, who was the main event on the card.
