The Falcons were in rainy Charlotte in position to sweep the Panthers for the second time in four years. The team was down 13-3 at intermission and had rolled up just 96 yards of offense.

Quarterback Marcus Mariota threw for 186 yards and two TDs but was picked off once and sacked five times. Meanwhile, Atlanta’s rushing defense came into the game ranked eighth in the league. But Carolina ran roughshod to the tune of 232 yards on 47 attempts.

Kliff Kingsbury’s team was looking for its first divisional win of 2022. The Cardinals were also looking to win at Los Angeles for the second straight year. Arizona owned a 17-3 halftime lead in part to a James Conner four-yard TD run and a six-yard A.J. Green scoring grab via quarterback Colt McCoy.

Wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins (10) and Rondale Moore (9) combined for 19 grabs and 192 yards. And J.J. Watt harassed Rams’ quarterback John Wolford.

19. team. 49. . 4-6. Previous: . Green Bay Packers

Matt LaFleur’s club was in the midst of a five-game losing streak as they hosted the Cowboys. And things didn’t look good as Aaron Rodgers and company found themselves down, 28-14, in the fourth quarter.

But it proved to be a breakout afternoon for rookie wideout Christian Watson. He caught four passes for 107 yards, three of those grabs for scores. The Packers would force overtime and eventually win it on a Mason Crosby 28-yard field goal.
