3. WR Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers

The Packers’ wide receivers have been a roller coaster this season for fantasy football owners. At various points, Allen Lazard, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Sammy Watkins, and Randall Cobb have dealt with their own respective injuries. Lazard has been the No. 1 receiver, but the No. 2 spot has lacked clarity. Doubs flashed upside with three double-digit fantasy point performances, including a 21.3-point game in Week 3. Meanwhile, Watkins, Cobb, and Samori Toure have all had double-digit fantasy point performances this season, as well. It has been a difficult depth chart to interpret, but we may have finally gained some clarity.

On Sunday, Watson had a breakout game with four receptions for 108 yards and three touchdowns on a season-high eight targets. His speed gave the Packers’ offense the boost that they had been missing. The second-round pick played a limited role this season after struggling with drops, but with Doubs and Cobb sidelined, Watson should continue to get opportunities to make big plays in the Packers’ offense.
