2. Kenyan Drake, Baltimore Ravens

Kenyan Drake has looked like a stud anytime he’s gotten an extended opportunity for the Ravens. With Gus Edwards working his way back from a hamstring injury, the backfield tandem may be in line for a committee in Week 11. A fully healthy and explosive Drake should probably be the preferred option for the Ravens and fantasy managers alike.

The Carolina Panthers haven’t been able to stop a nosebleed this year. Both Drake and Edwards will likely have success against the fifth-worst defense in terms of fantasy points allowed to running backs. Drake is the preferred play, especially with his receiving ability.

1. Elijah Mitchell, San Francisco 49ers

The most surprising bit of Week 10 came on Sunday night when 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell was activated off of injured reserve and proceeded to out-carry Christian McCaffrey. This had fantasy managers everywhere scratching their heads because McCaffrey didn’t look like the absolute nuclear fantasy option that he was without Mitchell.

Apparently, McCaffrey and Mitchell splitting carries was the plan all along for Head Coach Kyle Shanahan, and this will allow Mitchell to continue to be fantasy relevant, even against a stingy Arizona run defense. Mitchell is a solid flex play this week, and a smart DFS play due to his lower cost.
