As mentioned earlier, the TCU Horned Frogs had a near scare against the Baylor Bears on Saturday. The team trailed 28-26 late in the fourth quarter. On their own 31-yard line, quarterback Max Duggan completed two-of-three pass attempts for 28 yards and ran for a 12-yard gain, playing a role in the team getting into field goal range. With no timeouts remaining, the Horned Frogs hit a run-off, game-winning field goal to take the 29-28 victory.

Duggan completed 24-of-35 pass attempts for 327 yards and a touchdown while throwing one interception. Duggan also ran for 50 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.

It was another solid showing for the senior, as he showed why TCU is ranked fourth overall in the country.

Bryce Young. 7. player. 829. . . Previous:

Bryce Young and the Alabama Crimson Tide are in spoiler mode for the remainder of the season after losing in overtime to LSU. Just last week, they eliminated the Ole Miss Rebels from SEC Championship Game contention with a 30-24 win, thus giving the West Division title to LSU.

This week, the Crimson Tide faced off against the Austin Peay Governors, and it went as well as you would’ve expected. Young didn’t exactly do much for him to rise up the power rankings.

In the team’s 34-0 blowout victory, Young threw 18 completions for 221 yards and two touchdowns.

Next week, Alabama and Young look to end the regular season on a high note when they take on the Auburn Tigers in the Iron Bowl.
