Twitter roasts Eagles coach Nick Sirianni for losing his mind in celebration
By Josh Wilson
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was way too excited to beat the Colts.
The Philadelphia Eagles trailed the Indianapolis Colts for most of Week 11’s game, but found a way to score a touchdown late to win by a single point.
And yet, the leader of the team, Nick Sirianni, showed zero leadership, resolve, or maturity and acted like he just won the Super Bowl.
At least, that’s the opinion of this writer. Others felt differently, some even appreciating the energy from the head coach.
Here’s the moment, in case you missed it:
It’s unclear exactly what happened, but it sure does look like the coach went over to talk to some Eagles fans to, perhaps, bring some receipts back with him after getting chirped by fans who made the trip earlier in the day.
One could make the case that maybe… maybe he was just going over there to celebrate with the fans. The interaction looked a little bit hostile, though.
Never mind what I think, what did the people think?

Yeah, a win is a win, but as a coach, definitely need to act like you’ve been there before.
Sure a win is a win, but you expect coaches to hold their composure.
Kevin Cooney has it right:
Feels like a page right out of Michael Scott’s book, doesn’t it?
If there’s any city that can embrace this behavior, you bet it’s Philly.
