Winner: New England Patriots (55 percent chance to make playoffs)

By beating the New York Jets on that crazy punt return, the New England Patriots how have a 55 percent chance of making the AFC playoffs. Although they only have a 9 percent chance of winning the AFC East, getting one up on Gang Green like this will be a huge boost in the Patriots’ favor once Week 18 does arrive. We cannot deny the impact this rivalry game’s outcome could have.

Loser: New York Jets (46 percent chance to make playoffs)

With the New England Patriots being a big winner in terms of playoff projections after Week 11, that means the New York Jets have to be a big loser. Gang Green now has a 46 percent chance to make the postseason and only a 4 percent chance of winning the AFC East. Given that New York has not made the postseason since 2010, they might have to wait yet another season after this.

Winner: Washington Commanders (50 percent chance to make playoffs)

By handling the lowly Houston Texans, the Washington Commanders are starting to force their way into the NFC playoff conversation with their winning ways of late. It is now a 50-50 proposition on if Washington can make it into the NFC playoffs. Although they still have to climb their way closer to the top of the strong NFC East, Washington seems very far from being out of it.

Loser: Minnesota Vikings (99 percent chance to make playoffs)

Although the Minnesota Vikings still have a 99 percent chance of making the NFC playoffs, their blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys has certainly hurt their chances of having a first-round bye or winning the Super Bowl. Minnesota has a 98 percent chance to win the NFC North, but only has a 14 percent chance of getting that first-round bye and a 5 percent chance to win the whole thing.

The only thing we know is these odds will be changing throughout the course of this NFL season.
