OBJ really seems to be enjoying watching two could-be teammates in Kansas City
By Josh Wilson
Odell Beckham Jr. seems to have his eyes on several teams, and the Chiefs have been added to that list.
Odell Beckham Jr. might have been watching the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night because he’s a fan of the game and is excited to get back to playing for an NFL team very soon. That’s entirely possible.
The more interesting and fun storyline, though, is that OBJ is being extremely selective with the teams he’s giving his public attention to.
Sleuths (myself included) have deducted that Beckham’s Twitter was an early signal he was interested in a return with the New York Giants. Days after he initially sent some signals by Tweeting about the Giants and liking Tweets related to Big Blue on Twitter, he had a visit scheduled with the team.
So his latest Tweets about the Chiefs might be more than nothing.

Whole lot of nothing, or maybe something? That’s really up to you to decide.
Early in the season, the Rams, Packers, Chiefs, Bills, and Ravens seemed to be the most likely destinations for OBJ. The Rams and Packers took themselves out of the competition by losing so many games. The Cowboys and Giants emerged later, with the former being publicly aggressive in its courting of the star receiver.
The Chiefs seemed to be out of the running when they traded with the Giants for receiver Kadarius Toney, but more star power never really hurt Patrick Mahomes. Toney has also not been used heavily, getting just eight targets in the three games he’s been a Chief.
Reports are that Beckham won’t make a final decision on where he’ll play until after Thanksgiving. He has visits scheduled with the Cowboys and Giants, but there should be plenty of other time for other contenders to emerge and court the receiver.
As for what he wants, Beckham surely wants to compete for yet another Super Bowl ring, but he also has mentioned he’s hoping to get a multi-year contract out of the deal, too.
Again, the Chiefs Tweet could be a whole lot of nothing, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
