Best fantasy football pickups for Week 12: WR Darius Slayton, New York Giants

Rostered: 21.5%

Since Week 7, Darius Slayton has quietly led the Giants in targets (26), receiving yards (305), and receiving touchdowns (2). He has posted double-digit fantasy points in four consecutive games.

Rookie wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson tore his ACL during Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, he is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Robinson was playing a big role for the Giants. On Sunday, he was targeted a game-high 13 times. Injuries have plagued the Giants’ wide receivers. Earlier this season, Sterling Shepard landed on the IR with an ACL injury. As a result, Slayton has a clear path to be the clear number-one wide receiver for the remainder of the season.

With a large potential workload, he is an excellent waiver wire pickup.
