New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll became a meme once he screamed at a referee after a penalty in the first quarter against the Dallas Cowboys.

Head coach Brian Daboll has become a figure of envy among the New York Giants fanbase. He did, after all, lead the team to seven wins in their first nine games of his head coaching career after other fanbases and the media alike gave the team no chance of winning anything in 2022. One thing that the Giants faithful love is Daboll’s passion on the sidelines, as he can become very animated at times.

During the team’s Thanksgiving game against the Dallas Cowboys, quarterback Daniel Jones’ touchdown pass to Isaiah Hodgins was negated due to an illegal downfield pass penalty. That was due to offensive tackle Tyre Phillips being illegally downfield.

The FOX cameras then cut to Daboll on the sidelines, who was screaming and swearing at a referee. Oh, and he spiked his headset onto the ground too. Then, he angrily glared at the official, as shown in a clip as the broadcast entered a commercial break.

And just like that, social media users saved the video and will use it for a future meme. Besides that, viewers shared how much they loved how fired up Daboll got.

As a result of the penalty, the Giants had to settle for a 57-yard field goal made by Graham Gano.

The Giants would take a 10-7 lead over the Cowboys after an incredible catch by Darius Slayton to set up a one-yard touchdown run by Saquon Barkley. Just before halftime, Gano made his second field goal of the game, a 47-yarder, to give the Giants a 13-7 lead.

For those who watched the Giants for the first time this year now know that Daboll is a very passionate head coach after his exchange with a referee.
