FOX Sports insider Jay Glazer revealed when both the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants planned to meet with free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

The 2022 NFL Thanksgiving slate featured a battle between two NFC East rivals in the Dallas Cowboys and the New YorK Giants. Not only was it a battle for second-place in the division, but also to impress free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Reports indicated that both teams were set to meet with Beckham after their Thanksgiving game. Now, we have a better idea of when these meetings will take place.

According to FOX Sports insider Jay Glazer, the Cowboys are scheduled to meet with Beckham on Monday, Dec. 5. As for the Giants, team brass will meet after the game to figure out when they will schedule to talk with Beckham.

Latest word on when Cowboys, Giants will meet with Odell Beckham Jr.

In the case of the Cowboys, they’re not going to meet with Beckham immediately. Rather, they’re waiting until two Mondays from now. There should be some word as to when the Giants will set up a meeting with their former 2014 first-round pick in the coming days.

It’s no secret that the Cowboys really want to bring in the three-time Pro Bowler. Linebacker Micah Parsons and quarterback Dak Precott both were recruiting Beckham in recent weeks.

Beckham is still available in free agency due to recovering from a torn ACL suffered in the first half of Super Bowl 56. During his short stint with the Los Angeles Rams, Beckham showed that he can still be a difference maker after a less-than-ideal tenure with the Cleveland Browns.

In eight regular-season games with the Rams last year, Beckham recorded 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns. In the four playoff games, Beckham caught 21-of-26 targets for 288 yards and two touchdowns.

For teams who missed out on adding a wide receiver at the trade deadline, signing Beckham is their last chance. We know the Cowboys and Giants are interested in bringing him in, now we have a better idea when they will each make their pitches.

UPDATE: According to CBS Sports insider Josina Anderson, the current order for Beckham’s visits in early December are as follows:

  • New York Giants
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Dallas Cowboys

Anderson also notes that there are also conversations with the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.
