Most by a player in his NFL debut in #Jets franchise history.
James Robinson was a healthy scratch, while Michael Carter exited Sunday’s game with an ankle sprain. The severity of Carter’s injury is unknown, but even if he returns, Knight should still have value. The Jets like to deploy Carter in a complementary role. He has not played 75 percent of the team’s offensive snaps in a single game, this season. Prior to the injury, Knight and Carter were splitting carries, as well.
#Jets scratched James Robinson yesterday. But don't think they ever intended on going workhorse with Michael Carter, even before the ankle injury.
