The San Francisco Giants are going full-force after slugger Aaron Judge and are making it well-known, but they may be after Carlos Correa too.

There’s no secret that the San Francisco Giants want Aaron Judge. Any team would be extremely lucky to have him on their roster, but the Giants are a favorite to land him. However, they aren’t stopping there.

According to an Instagram post from former MLB player Carlos Baerga, San Francisco may be after Carlos Correa as well.

It may or may not be true, but Baerga does appear to be credible as he was right on about Justin Verlander’s move to the New York Mets.

It’s unclear whether they’re trying to sign both stars or just one depending on if the other falls through, but both would certainly be very exciting signings for Giants fans. The Giants have a lot of room to improve as they’re in an increasingly competitive division, and they may be a serious threat of a team with a few star additions.

They reportedly have a lot of money to spend too as they’ve shared they won’t miss out on Judge due to money, so they seem ready to invest in a competitive team.

While the Giants weren’t the worst team in the league last season, they certainly weren’t the best and didn’t look like contenders. Not many would consider them competitive against the Los Angeles Dodgers, who frequent the top of the division with so many star players, including Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts.

They did win the division in 2021, proving they have potential, but their success hasn’t been as consistent as the Dodgers each season.

The San Diego Padres rose strong this season to appear competitive in the division with a star-studded roster including Manny Machado, Juan Soto, Joe Musgrove and Fernando Tatis Jr. The Giants are doing decent, but their success is being buried by their more-successful division rivals.

Next season, if they debut with Judge or Correa (or possibly both), they’ll certainly look a lot more intimidating.
