6. Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers

The health of starting running back D’Onta Foreman needs to be closely monitored, as he’s dealing with two separate ailments and whether he will play or not remains to be seen. This would send Chuba Hubbard into a borderline RB1 play, as he would handle the lion’s share of the workload.

Hubbard already had 17 carries for 65 yards in the Panthers’ weird Week 12 domination of the Denver Broncos, but he still saw less production and volume than Foreman. Hubbard is a shaky FLEX with Foreman active, but a starting-caliber back if he’s inactive.

5. Jerick McKinnon, Kansas City Chiefs

Jerick McKinnon continues to be the most played back on the Kansas City Chiefs, and he finally had himself a productive day last week in the Chiefs’ Week 13 loss to Cincinnati, rushing eight times for 51 yards, adding two catches for nine yards and a touchdown.

McKinnon has taken a backseat to Isiah Pacheco on early rushing downs, but he ends up playing the most snaps on the team when the Chiefs get into passing mode. McKinnon always remains a weekly PPR threat, and should be considered one once again in Week 14.
