Lions tackle Taylor Decker was among those in Detroit who ribbed Vikings WR Jalen Reagor for his failed guarantee of a Minnesota win.

If you’re going to guarantee a victory, you sure as hell better be capable of backing up that guarantee. Jalen Reagor of the Vikings wasn’t, and now he’s the laughingstock of Detroit.

Ahead of Sunday’s game at Ford Field, Reagor told reporters that he was certain Minnesota would win the game and clinch the division. It obviously didn’t go down that way as the Lions won 34-23. Detroit led by a touchdown for much of the game.

Reagor didn’t do much to change that. He had no catches and one punt return for nine years. Lions tackle Taylor Decker called him out for it.

“Tough look for Jalen Reagor right now,” Decker said per Kyle Meinke of MLive.com.

Lions Twitter teased Jalen Reagor after win over Vikings

As far as the burns Reagor received, that was pretty tame. The team’s official Twitter crushed him while others had their laughs.

Reagor finished with no catches, no yards and no targets. In a game that saw offensive tackle Penei Sewell catch a pass and convert a key first down, that’s pretty damn funny.

Meanwhile, Detroit had nine players with more receiving production than Reagor. DJ Chark led the way with six catches for 94 yards and a touchdown. Amon-Ra St. Brown pitched in six catches for 68 yards. Sewell had one catch for nine yards.

While Reagor was an absolute non-factor, his Vikings teammate Justin Jefferson did all that he could to give the Vikings a chance. He finished with 11 catches for 223 yards.

The Lions have won five of their last six games to improve to 6-7 on the season. They still have to face the Jets, Panthers, Bears and Packers.
