Croatia vs. Argentina live stream World Cup 2022 semifinals on Dec. 13
Croatia and Argentina will do battle on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Lusail Stadium in Lusail, Qatar in the World Cup semifinals. Here’s how to watch.
After stunning mighty Brazil in the quarterfinals, Croatia will be looking to reach a second straight World Cup final on Tuesday when they take on pre-tournament favorites Argentina.
It was an epic upset via the shootout, but Croatia has proven that they are hard to beat in the knockout stages of a World Cup.
Four years after reaching the final, Croatia is looking to make a second trip to the title match. Led by attacking midfielder Luka Modric and the goalkeeping prowess of Dominik Livakovic, Croatia could very well contend for the trophy this time after falling short against France in 2018.
While Croatia has an ability to frustrate opponents and wear them down in extra time, then beat them on penalties, Argentina will look to break that streak.
The Albiceleste, who defeated the Netherlands on penalties in thrilling fashion after the game ended 2-2 in extra time, features Lionel Messi, arguably the greatest player in the world, along with strikers Lautaro Martinez, who scored the decisive penalty in the shootout.
Messi, who has scored three goals at this tournament, is seeking to win his first World Cup.
