Normally, the Steelers have good luck finding defensive players, but now, who they have on their roster are getting up in age and will eventually hang up their cleats. The time for discovering new talent is now; ultimately, it is on the Steelers’ front office to find and develop those players. They should probably keep their eye on the Sun Bowl.

While Calijah Kancey is undersized, his explosiveness cannot be questioned. Pittsburgh should not have to look far for any tape, as Kancey lives in their backyard. It can’t be that difficult to find someone at the university to sit down and have a conversation with about Kancey or any of his fellow Panthers defenders.

Quick hands and tremendous explosiveness in his lower body allow Kancey to rush the passer as an interior force in any system. Despite his small stature, there is nothing small about his game. All it takes is the right coaching staff and system to ensure his potential is unlocked and utilized.
