Injured 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel provided amazing narration for George Kittle’s touchdown against the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football.

Deebo Samuel can’t play for the 49ers right now. He suffered a sprained MCL and ankle against the Buccaneers. It won’t end his season, fortunately, but it prevented him from traveling with his team to face the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football.

The wide receiver may not have been on the sideline, but he was actively cheering on his guys from home.

And he was having fun doing it.

Deebo Samuel’s narration of George Kittle’s TD is amazing

After George Kittle broke free to score a 28-yard touchdown in the first quarter, Samuel was in awe. His narration probably fits that of most 49ers fans in that moment.

Kittle wasn’t done on Thursday night. He caught another touchdown pass in the third quarter, rumbling 54 yards after Brock Purdy faked passes to both flats before hitting his tight end open up the middle.

Samuel wasn’t done either. He tweeted throughout the game, enjoying the performances from his defense, QB, tight end and more.

Samuel had to be carted off the field against Tampa Bay but his injuries weren’t season-ending as original feared. According to reports, he could make it back before the end of the regular season.

Another week or two watching from the sideline or his couch at home should be bearable if it means he’ll be able to contribute in the postseason.

The win over the Seahawks means San Francisco will go into the playoffs as a division winner. The next question is whether they can grab the No. 2 seed out from under the Vikings.

On Christmas Eve they’ll host the Commanders. On New Year’s Day they’ll take on the Raiders in Las Vegas. Then they’ll finish out the regular season against the Cardinals.
