The Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots are among the NFL teams that find themselves on upset alert entering Week 15.

Just four weeks remain in the 2022 NFL regular season and there is a lot on the line in the playoff picture. Division titles remain up for grabs and the Wild Card hunt is rather, well, wild in both conferences so finding ways to take care of business is critical for potential playoff contenders.

The Miami Dolphins learned this lesson the hard way last week, dropping a critical game in Los Angeles to put themselves another game behind the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East and falling closer to the bottom of the playoff picture. Let’s take a look at three more teams in jeopardy of becoming upset victims this week, beginning with the team that beat the Dolphins on Sunday night.

3. NFL Teams That Should Be On Upset Alert In Week 15 – Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are frequent visitors to this space thanks to their propensity for finding ways to blow winnable games. Week 14 was a pleasant exception as a healthy offense allowed Justin Herbert to put together his best performance of the season as the Chargers beat the Dolphins to improve to 7-6.

The schedule appears to be manageable for the Chargers down the stretch so it is perfectly reasonable to expect Los Angeles to be in the mix until the very end. Things could get difficult this week, however, as the Chargers welcome the Tennessee Titans to town and are favored by three in the game.

Tennessee is going to be angry coming off an embarrassing loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and in desperate need of a victory so this could be a tough matchup against a Chargers squad that doesn’t fare too well against physical teams. Los Angeles also has the fifth-worst run defense in the league, yielding 147 yards per game on the ground, which plays right into Tennessee’s preferred gameplan so the upset is very much in play here.
