Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins had a postgame fit that was made to wear after making the largest comeback in NFL history.
The Minnesota Vikings had the chance to clinch the NFC North title with a win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15 of the NFL season. At halftime, that looked unattainable, as they trailed the Colts 33-0, a deficit that no team could overcome. That was until the 2022 Vikings came along.
Minnesota forced overtime and defeated the Colts 39-36 to complete the largest comeback in NFL history, and clinched the division title for the first time since 2017.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins is known for his postgame fits after victories. That usually consisted of no t-shirt and multiple gold chains. For his postgame press conference after the win over the Colts, Cousins wore a purple sports coat that featured multiple pictures of the Vikings logo.
Cousins said his wife chose the jacket for him, telling him, “you got to do it.”

Kirk Cousins wears Vikings-themed postgame fit after huge comeback win over Colts
Cousins had plenty to celebrate, as this is the first time he won an NFC North title since signing with the team back in 2018.
As mentioned earlier, the Vikings looked like they were going to get blown out by the Colts on Saturday. Cousins was ineffective in the first half, completing just 6-of-12 pass attempts for 42 yards and one interception. Once the second half started, Cousins led the team to five touchdown drives to send the game to overtime.
From the second half until the conclusion of overtime on Greg Joseph’s 40-yard, game-winning field goal, Cousins completed 28-of-42 pass attempts for 417 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.
Kirk Cousins helped lead the Vikings to the largest comeback in NFL history, generating the 2nd-most passing EPA in a 2nd half/OT by a QB this season (+20.6).

What a performance by Cousins to help lead the team to the biggest comeback win since Frank Reich led the Buffalo Bills from a 35-3 deficit to a 41-38 win over the Houston Oilers in the 1992 AFC Wild Card round.
This will be a game that Vikings fans will remember fondly for quite some time, and Cousins played a huge role in the comeback victory becoming a reality.
