The Minnesota Vikings overcame a 33-point deficit to defeat the Indianapolis Colts in overtime, and Twitter is reveling in this historic NFL moment. 

Right now, Vikings Twitter is in all caps mode, but it’s not without good reason. Seeing the team overcome a 33-point deficit, the largest margin in NFL history, to win the game in overtime is something to shout about.

Everyone celebrating the unprecedented victory has caps mode locked, shouting out stats and sharing graphics about what this historic win means for Minnesota.

It’s already being dubbed “another Minneapolis miracle.”

Once the dust settles on it being the largest comeback in NFL history, the Vikings can soak in the fact that they’ve clinched the NFC North with this win.

It’s another opportunity to reflect on Aaron Rodgers laughing at anyone in the NFC North thinking this year is their year. Well, 2022 certainly belongs to the Minnesota Vikings.

There’s already a debate about whether or not this is the greatest comeback in sports history.

But it’s not just onlookers who are responding to the emotional turmoil experienced during this game. Players themselves shared their joy following the win, with the receivers group coming together for a coordinated slide.

Although Vikings fans shared more sarcastic memes as the early Colts lead grew, the comeback reminded Minnesota fans why they keep coming back.

As difficult as it can be to endure heartbreak as a Vikings fan, the hardship makes every victory taste that much sweeter. And with an 11-3 record atop the NFC North, it’ll be hard for future Minnesota teams to top what the 2022 team has managed to accomplish time and time again.
