After seeing husband Patrick Mahomes get slammed to the turf against the Texans, the wife of the Chiefs star, Brittany Mahomes, called out the refs.
In what was a surprisingly-close contest for at least three quarters of action, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took a beating. In the second quarter in Houston, Maliek Collins got a free shot at the former MVP, and took advantage.

On first look, Collins may have gotten away with some excessive force. Wrapping up Mahomes is one thing, but in today’s day and age, it’s rare that opposing defenders are allowed to throw a player of his caliber down the turf.
Brittany Mahomes, who frequently comments on matters in her husband’s games and isn’t shy about it, called out the officiating crew.
Im confused, we are allowed to tackle quarterbacks like that now? Got it. The inconsistency is BS

Chiefs: Brittany Mahomes comments on Patrick Mahomes ‘BS’ sack
Despite what could be their second win in as many weeks, it’s been tough scenes for the Chiefs against the lowly Denver Broncos and now Houston Texans. If anything, Andy Reid and Co. are lucky these lackluster efforts are coming in the latter half of the season against lackluster opponents, rather than in the playoffs vs…actual contenders.
As for Collins sake, Brittany Mahomes has a point. Any action of throwing the quarterback to the ground with excessive force is usually roughing the passer.
However, such personal foul calls are often subjective and left up to the officiating crew, which leads to inconsistencies in said decisions. Even Tom Brady, who was literally choked last week by a 49ers player, has been a victim of missed calls in that department.
As for Kansas City, they have more serious matters to worry about, including the turnover department. KC, as of this writing, is -7 on the season in turnover ratio. That’s not going to cut it against the likes of Buffalo and more.
