Reddit sleuths think a Chiefs super-fan is also a famous bank robber.
Reddit always gets to the bottom of the story.
A rumor began circulating around Chiefsā Twitter that a super fan known as āChiefsaholicā was arrested for robbing banks in the same mask he wore to support his team.
But only some of that is true.
The Reddit post started out as a worried fan wondering why hadnāt showed up to the last game (which should show you how big of a staple he really is).
āChiefs fan known as āchiefsaholicā who is usually very active on social media, especially on gameday, hasnāt been seen or heard from in 3 days,ā the poster wrote. āHe likely had a ticket to attend the Texans game but wasnāt spotted in attendance, if anyone has seen him or is able to help then please do your thing Chiefs Kingdom.ā
Thatās when social media got to work.
Weāre going to leave his legal name out of this for his privacy.
Kyle Ayers shared several photos comparing a wolf-mask-wearing bank robber and the fan, but then later clarified the photos of the man in the wolf mask was not the fan though he was arrested for bank robbery.
Other fans shared screenshots of his past social media experience which shows hits at what he would later be arrested for.
And someone even got a copy of the arrest report.
This whole thing would be kind of hilarious if it wasnāt so sad.
