Best matchups for fantasy football Week 16: 1. D.K. Metcalf, WR, Seattle Seahawks (vs. KC)

On the flip side of the Kansas City-Seattle Week 16 showdown is D.K. Metcalf, who has been a value pick at fantasy football due to falling in drafts because of the uncertainty at quarterback in Seattle. He’s the overall WR12 on the year and has seen at least five catches in seven-straight games.

Metcalf has generally been matchup-proof this season, as he’s been the top target for a surging Geno Smith. However, he certainly has performed better overall in favorable matchups. This week against Kansas City provides an opportunity for Metcalf to go wild.

The Chiefs’ young secondary has begun to struggle mightily, as they now rank 21st against the pass and 29th in fantasy points per game allowed to wide receivers. Metcalf shouldn’t have any issues getting open and dominating in this one, making him a no-brainer WR1.
