Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Jets Week 17 Prediction
After getting rocked by the Chiefs, the Seahawks host Zach Wilson, Mike White and the New York Jets. Who knows which quarterback will be under center for this one, but if the Jets lose in Week 16, it might just be White.
In Week 16, the Jets plan to start Wilson when they play a Jacksonville Jaguars team that’s been on a roll lately. This could be a recipe for disaster for Robert Saleh and the Jets. Let’s say the Jets lose that one. Then, going into their matchup with Seattle, they’re losers of four in a row.
The Seahawks, at this stage, are losers of three in a row after losing to the Chiefs. Something has to give, right?
Seattle has scored just as many points as they’ve given up this year (355), at least going into Week 16. Meanwhile, the Jets defense has given up almost 100 points less (263) on the season.
If you’re looking for what will give, sadly, it’s going to be the Seahawks’ defense. Seattle’s defense has been a roller coaster this year, while the Jets’ unit has been much better and more consistent.
